Well, its been forever yet again, but I have been crafty! Mostly for swaps on Craftster, but I had to come on and share this!! I just found The Toy Society. If you don't know what it is you can check it out here http://thetoysociety.blogspot.ca/ Basically, you make a toy and drop it for someone to find. Sounds fun right? I thought so, so I joined, printed out my tags and worked on a toy. I was worried about it being found by someone who wouldn't appreciate it and love it, so I looked for the perfect quick little pattern. And I thought about this one!!! I've made it before and who doesn't love Mario?!?! http://wolfdreamer-oth.blogspot.ca/2009/04/bombomb.html I figured young or old, whoever found it would be happy. So I made him up and sent him on his way, I thought the perfect place would be if I went to pick up the kiddies from school a little earlier and just dropped it there when no one would see me. Well, that didn't work, cuz guess who found it and brought it home? MY KIDS!!!! hahahaha, so I explained it all to them and they got as excited to hide it as me. So off we went to the park behind our house and we dropped it there. Then we left. We went out for a couple of hours and one of their friends found him. They didn't tell the it was from us though. But I kinda wanted it to go to a stranger, so I'm gonna do it again tomorrow!! I did make 2 bobombs, so its perfect, maybe I'll go shopping and drop it there..... I really enjoyed doing it, maybe you can give it a try too!!! Heres some pics....

And this one is completely new! Just finished typing it all up yesterday actually. I LOVE playing Zelda and now my 7 year old twins do too. Here is a pattern for Link, the main character of Zelda. I've made a Zelda too, but I'm not promising that pattern quite yet. Hope you like this one!! I've been told he needs a sword and shield too, so.....hopefully soon?

I haven't been on here FOREVER!! I'm so sorry. I had a bit of a crochet slump for a while there, but I've been slowly picking up my hooks again, mostly thanks to my new inspiration........I'm due with a baby girl June 2!!!! WOW! Someone who will wear crocheted clothing!! lol, I'm so excited. Maybe I can start designing clothing now??? Who knows, I do know that I would like to get Pearl and Mrs Puff made up soon. I've made a couple of adorable baby blankets in lots of pinks. Never been a big fan of pink myself but I've bought more of it the last couple months than anything else!!! I have some patterns that I'm debating put up here for free, but I don't want to get into any trouble for posting them so I have to check some stuff out first. I promise to be back soon..........mama24boyzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02942351518274623834noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7825490607229731264.post-82974626837063309022009-08-08T14:23:00.005-04:002011-08-22T14:03:42.888-04:00Hooker ScarfI had an idea last night and I couldn't believe that I had never seen one of these!!! Its his 3rd bday here, as you can see from his shirt. I made his little shirt for him, that whole thing started on the twins first bday and I made them little shirts with their names so people could tell them apart and now I do it all the time....well, except for Quenton, hes such a poor sport!! Won't let me play dress up at 12!!! lol. ANYWAYS....I also made the Spongy stuff behind him. Hes a Spongbob fanatic. When he wakes up, the first thing he says is "Buhbob on?" I haven't been on here forever! I made DHs blanket finally! I changed the square a bit, if you remember, I made a square up just for him and posted the pattern on here, <a href="http://mama24boyz.blogspot.com/2008/11/irish-pride-square.html">Irish Pride Square.</a> Well, to that, I added another few rows to make a 10" square instead of 8", just so I didn't have to make so many squares, I really don't like that part too much. Then when it was all put together, I added the border the same as each square, I think it turned out pretty nice.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5332560210510741842" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeBfNvchahK0ifLylvFulbalzPUC5GHNKxjArVFApJCCS-MfrYO0utosFj2J02_n1n_gexSJfJ_mnX07LmnZ7bLgQSfGCxv9AcCelF3SRYA8GUl8rq8Kw3t9V9VgAv4tj8ThamoiPjXnIh/s200/100_2375.jpg" border="0" />Other stuff I've made. Probably because I can't do neither!! lol. But, after watching tonights show, I DON"T WANNA WATCH ANYMORE!!!! I cannot believe that they cut Jamar!!! They kept his best friend, cuz hes amazing, but hes equally as good!! And what makes it worse is that they put through that Nick/Norman whatever and The Nathaniel kid and that freaking extremely annoying Tatiana!! This is absurd!! Anyone else agree with me? Jamar has more talent than most of the people they put through. But I did get afew faves through too, it wasn't a total waste!mama24boyzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02942351518274623834noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7825490607229731264.post-30715916000415056902009-01-25T09:52:00.003-05:002009-01-25T09:57:29.227-05:00Argyle Scarf<div>I've got a new pattern in my Etsy Shop. <br />If desired, stitch black “webs” over ONLY RED parts of the scarf.
<br />Tack the 2 middle fingers down to look like Spiderman shooting a web.
<br />
<br /><strong>***NOTE:</strong> To make the scarf longer is easy. Just think of it right now as in 4 parts of 35 rows each. If you want it longer add the same number of rows to each section. So, if you add 5 extra rows to the first section, add 5 more to each section after as well. Watch your gauge and do your math to figure out the length of scarf you want.

I've made a Race Car Set....<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5271098816474021698" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOuPK2ciwPn2V1oWYobEw7pucUdaHi983bufi5jxm5UDBlNmRG6yOrZxeRcQuIBj2lrioaOO46MNrKjGOIC3vF07bsgDO5XbiTp6LVuAQIRl8GzWGiWKHwWR-OzppH-mdPEhXNjvPIsUOV/s200/100_2046.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div><div><div>And A Spongy Set....</div><br /><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5271098821144384162" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh40KOIi88uTymKMD1h9glklAhYjKadfmnwEhKj0g57iveIY2MIAqyGpVE-Mye7A7ql9c2xiv-X5DzCYKKYiIaijoNWn1sTMcZnPrC963O2AHZig-diWr0bFugyO6D8jfzPy6ppGPY6tOfj/s200/100_2050.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div>I've also been working on a Spiderman Set, well, not set, just the scarf. Now, I love my concept for this one, but I think I'll just skip the webs, it looks wayyyyyyy too busy for my liking. What do you think? Maybe I'll finish this one with the webs sewn in and make another one just plain red and blue, then you can have the option of sewing the webs on if you like, but I think just plain would be ok too, no?</div></div></div><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5271098826467681554" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhyphenhyphenA_qLDdOtCZvu5JncycHV9_preeqNKXbu77pUd6ZFUPawAzMsE0_UrXj0iNj5grP2Q0Oh8bEa_wHYIzJenSP1OOTyhD4Hj5uO2nV6Rc6zv2I-mbpo-uLij1ZD9uVvuxjCHiqWx_o_Hnr/s200/100_2054.jpg" border="0" /></p>mama24boyzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02942351518274623834noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7825490607229731264.post-67251808279091246452008-11-17T10:31:00.007-05:002016-03-16T10:53:37.423-04:00Irish Pride SquareI really suck at keeping up with posts. <br />
DH wanted me to make him an afghan, which is really cool cuz he never really shows too much interest. Ya, he does the Oh thats nice and fake interest stuff, but thats about it. I made him mittens last year...the ones that the top pulls back, so your fingers can be in or out. You know what I mean, I'll find the link later. Fingerless gloves with a mitten top. Anyways, those got "lost" before he ever wore them, so you can understand taht I really wanted to make him something nice. He wanted something to do with Irish....like shamrocks. I searched free and not for any shamrock squares. And theres tons of nice little motifs, but o squares, so....I made on up! I thought it was going to be a lot harder, but it was pretty easy, so here it is. For all you guys! I hope you like it!
